150 FLT MACHINE CENTER ALIGNMENT 

The purpose of this course is to understand machine alignment principles and develop basic alignment skills. To use alignment skills with the following applications: Wire, Straight Edge, and Laser. To introduce economic concepts: Value of precision alignment for the sawmill/planer and the end product.

This course is a minimum of 24 hours and targets Millwrights, Saw Filers, Planermen, Supervisors, Electricians and Associated Apprentices.

alignment caused by wear/change
and effect on lumber product and quality.

Customized applications for the participant. What are
their needs, e.g., some mills do not have a band mill;
therefore, the trainer will not include band mills.
