Maintenance costs and reliability are the two most important aspects of maintenance management in the Pulp and Paper industry today. Spare parts and downtime costs are substantial.
This course provides the basics needed to begin using predictive maintenance techniques, reducing maintenance costs, and improving plant reliability. Many demonstrations and hands on experience are provided. Course enrollment is restricted to 12 students to ensure each student has the opportunity to practice using the techniques taught in theory; vibration measurement, baseline conditions, condition monitoring, vibration analysis, balancing rotating machinery, and discussion of infrared thermography applications.
