The National Electrical Code is a continually revised and updated electrical code documented in detail. The Code is oriented towards safety and the protection of individuals and property. This course is customized and focused towards each customers need for knowledge as it applies to their people and installation. Those that this course is intended for are maintenance , supervisory, and engineering personnel who are familiar and work directly with the equipment on site. This is an application and example oriented program.
Suggested class materials include bringing a copy of the relevant Code sections or the Code itself, calculator, and writing materials.

A. Spacing of equipment for personal safety
B. Sizing raceway and conductors for motor and non-motor circuits

NOTE: It is in this section, in particular, that the instructor and the customer work to be specific in the material to be covered, the format to be presented, and the time to be spent on each area.
Considerable time is spent on the details of the NEC Code as it specifically applies to each class sessions needs. Instruction, dialogue, exchange of information and group discussion is important to the courses success. Reference to the customers equipment is preferred and encouraged. The Code as it applies to the Safety of the student and the equipment and their environment is always a comprehensive part of this program.
