Course Number: ED1D1AO1TT Course Length: 2 Days Prerequisite: None DESCRIPTION This is a training program for Equipment Repair Technicians with three years or less experience in repair of automobile and truck operating systems. The course introduces a systematic, unified strategy (i.e. plan) to be used in verifying a complaint or problem about malfunctions in 4 major automotive systems, in diagnosing the specific problem, and in the use of service manuals and test tools to facilitate repair and replacement of parts as/if required. TOPICS 1. Overview of a unified strategy 2. Clarifying and verifying a complaint 3. Conducting a good visual inspection 4. Use of Service manuals 5.
